The 2011 basketball season was definitely exciting! This marked the first year Centre County participated in 3 vs. 3 competition, with two teams participating at various regional competitions. While there was a bit of a learning curve with the new rules initially, both teams played extremely well in competition. Both teams took home some medals and we even had a last second victory on a three point shot!

In addition to the 3 vs. 3 competition, David Bevilacqua participated in the Skills competition. In his very first competition, he won a gold medal and qualified for the Summer Games. Great job, David!

Lastly, we were fortunate to have several new athletes and volunteers join the team this year. They were a welcome addition and we're looking forward to seeing them going forward!
