Golf 2008
We started our golf season in April. Once again we kicked off the
season meeting with the head pro and Golf Course Manager, Joe
Hughes. Joe always helps us get off to a good start by enlisting
PGM students to play some holes with our athletes. Most of our
practices were held on our reconstructed tee and green. At this
area we work on our skills and drills and occasionally have some
athlete/coach challenges. This year Centre County took our first
golfer to summer games. Congratulations Greg Focht on a Gold
Medal. Many thanks go to Joe Hughes for his co-operation
setting up our schedule and to our dedicated assistants, Bob Tarr,
Allison Mowery, Doug Brooks, and Leroy Young. We would have made
bogies without you.
